Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when David Turner made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Volitation's goal looked a bit too open when David Turner came free, but Ray Pollard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute, Darryl Sykes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coppull FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Coppull FC's David Turner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ray Pollard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If David Turner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Volitation's Miles Laycock in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coppull FC's goalie prevented a goal. Miles Laycock blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ashley Bye having to make a save. Iain Wedlock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Miles Laycock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iain Wedlock in the 23rd minute of play forced Coppull FC's goalkeeper Ashley Bye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute David Turner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Pollard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Miles Laycock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Volitation's zone, Darryl Sykes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ray Pollard came out of the goal and Darryl Sykes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. James Furlong, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Paddy Hart's late challenge caught a Volitation's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paddy Hart helped the player get up and apologised. Ronan Rockey, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miles Laycock to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Darryl Sykes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ray Pollard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute Darryl Sykes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Pollard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ashley Bye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iain Wedlock in the 61st minute of the match. Miles Laycock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ray Pollard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darryl Sykes in the 67th minute of play. When Ronan Rockey fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Volitation's protests and gave Ronan Rockey a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darryl Sykes in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ray Pollard saved Volitation from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Volitation's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Fairbank came free, but Ray Pollard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Volitation's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Sykes came free, but Ray Pollard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darryl Sykes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Pollard having to interfere. Dom Beadle hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. James Furlong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ray Pollard having to make a save. Iain Wedlock hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Ray Pollard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darryl Sykes in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darryl Sykes in the 98th minute of play forced Volitation's goalkeeper Ray Pollard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
