Martin Bambrook kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, one of Reekies Wee Laddies:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Reekies Wee Laddies. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Manchester United FC. Kieran Hardcastle stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Phillip Findley. 4-0. In the 32nd match minute, Manchester United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teddy Pringle to maneuver through the defense. If Patrick Nicholls had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Eddy Lobb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Teddy Pringle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Phillip Findley was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Teddy Pringle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Simeon Pettifer's late challenge caught a Manchester United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simeon Pettifer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Manchester United FC booed when Reekies Wee Laddies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simeon Pettifer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Beasley received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Phillip Findley came out and tried to block the shot, but Adam Beasley slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 49th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eddy Lobb stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Manchester United FC's Martin Bambrook got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute of the match, Eddy Lobb got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stan Church was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Adam Beasley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adam Beasley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phillip Findley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 63 minutes, Adam Beasley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Beasley in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phillip Findley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Teddy Pringle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Phillip Findley was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Reekies Wee Laddies's zone, Adam Beasley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phillip Findley came out of the goal and Adam Beasley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Phillip Findley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Beasley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 100th minute, Adam Beasley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Manchester United FC had played much better football throughout.
