Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jools Potterton took the kick off in the first half of the match. Conan Wilkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Swift in the 6th minute of the match. Rick Swift fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conan Wilkins having to interfere. Jools Potterton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marty Edworthy having to interfere. Conan Wilkins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brad Branson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jools Potterton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conan Wilkins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Swift in the 38th minute of the match. Brad Branson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Conan Wilkins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

51 minutes into the game, John Fawell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Selhurst FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sudbury the free kick. John Fawell hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A well placed Brad Branson short distance shot in the 54th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Jools Potterton kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Marty Edworthy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jools Potterton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abraham Monk kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Marty Edworthy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jools Potterton, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Selhurst FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brad Branson came free, but Conan Wilkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abraham Monk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Marty Edworthy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jools Potterton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marty Edworthy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jools Potterton in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Abraham Monk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The long shot by Bryan Collier in the 84th minute really tested Conan Wilkins's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Jools Potterton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Abraham Monk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th match minute, Sudbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Collier to maneuver through the defense. Jools Potterton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marty Edworthy having to make a save. In the 92nd minute Jools Potterton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marty Edworthy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Selhurst FC's goalkeeper Conan Wilkins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rick Swift. Rick Swift fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conan Wilkins having to interfere. Although Selhurst FC had been in control for most of the match, Sudbury still came away with the win.
