Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 10 minutes into the match, Sutton on Sea City's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Sheene came free, but Kasey Parslow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12thth minute of the game Russell Burgess who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Middlesbrough F.C's Steve Townsley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sutton on Sea City's Kasey Parslow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Crispin Weston in the 15th minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sutton on Sea City's goalkeeper Kasey Parslow, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Crispin Weston in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kasey Parslow prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ted Perkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Townsley having to interfere. When Middlesbrough F.C's Teddy Sheene in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sutton on Sea City's goalie prevented a goal. After 32 minutes, David Capes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sutton on Sea City and the Middlesbrough F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. David Capes kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sutton on Sea City's zone, Crispin Weston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kasey Parslow came out of the goal and Crispin Weston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th match minute, Sutton on Sea City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Capes to maneuver through the defense. Crispin Weston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasey Parslow having to interfere. Teddy Sheene recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sutton on Sea City's Kasey Parslow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teddy Sheene in the 43rd minute of play. If Teddy Sheene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Teddy Sheene's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kasey Parslow was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teddy Sheene to make the kick off. The supporters of Middlesbrough F.C booed when Sutton on Sea City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sammy Tate didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kasey Parslow made an important save on a dangerous shot by Crispin Weston in the 55th minute. Crispin Weston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasey Parslow having to interfere. Barry Bentley kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Teddy Sheene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Sutton on Sea City's Kasey Parslow got control of the ball when Crispin Weston tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Middlesbrough F.C's corner Vincent Edison fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kasey Parslow quite easily take care of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeff Barron during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Middlesbrough F.C booed when Sutton on Sea City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeff Barron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barry Bentley hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Middlesbrough F.C's Vincent Edison broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 74 minutes into the game, Crispin Weston cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kasey Parslow was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dean Taggart who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Kasey Parslow when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Perkins in the 81st minute of play forced Middlesbrough F.C's goalkeeper Steve Townsley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Sutton on Sea City's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Sheene came free, but Kasey Parslow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Teddy Sheene who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sutton on Sea City's Kasey Parslow was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Crispin Weston scored 0-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kasey Parslow, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Middlesbrough F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
