Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Warren Pyrah took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Egham United's Warren Pyrah dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Egham United's Nicky Budden broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Paddy Shields hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Zane Roche successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Londons finest's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nicky Budden was slow to take the kick. During this time Egham United's players had a chance to rest. Scott Noble took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Tully, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 26 minutes, Warren Pyrah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Egham United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Warren Pyrah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zane Roche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil Anson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Warren Pyrah came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Egham United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Warren Pyrah couldn't finish the play. When Shaun Booth fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Londons finest's protests and gave Shaun Booth a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute Warren Pyrah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zane Roche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Warren Pyrah fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Zane Roche made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Neil Anson sent off a good shot on target. Warren Pyrah was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Neil Anson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Londons finest's goal looked a bit too open when Warren Pyrah came free, but Zane Roche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Warren Pyrah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Zane Roche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
After a rather tough play, Egham United's Marc Clifford got a free kick in the 54th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Londons finest:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Egham United:s goal. If Benjamin Seagrave had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicky Budden's late challenge caught a Londons finest's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicky Budden helped the player get up and apologised. Nicky Budden kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Chris Tully blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Scott Noble having to make a save. Chris Tully received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Scott Noble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Warren Pyrah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neil Anson struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Zane Roche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egham United. In the 92nd minute, Neil Anson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zane Roche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Warren Pyrah in the 94th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Egham United had won after a very even match.
