The supporters of shadow fc booed when Sutton on Sea City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barry Bentley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ted Perkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 played minutes shadow fc got a freekick which was hit by Bradley Langley. Sacha Harkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Ted Perkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Russell Burgess made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, shadow fc's goalkeeper Jack Hazledine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ted Perkins.
