The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when CJ Childs put in a rough tackle. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benji Argent to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Benji Argent managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. foxton town's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benji Argent was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benji Argent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Byron Sewell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bromley Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave foxton town the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Bromley Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Byron Sewell to maneuver through the defense. Ash Adcock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ash Adcock struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Alfred Croft didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bromley Boys. Shane Carter was shown his second yellow card after 76 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The tension between the Bromley Boys and the foxton town players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfred Croft made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Ash Adcock sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, foxton town's Jasper Blakeley got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Christopher Fawcett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Noel Beech recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfred Croft. Noel Beech showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind foxton town's goalkeeper Alfred Croft, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by foxton town's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dane Prior was slow to take the kick. During this time Bromley Boys's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Dane Prior almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but foxton town's Alfred Croft did a great save. Bromley Boys played a much better game than foxton town and deserved their victory. The foxton town players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
