Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 0) Rufus Baldwin kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Vincent Bamford cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Neil Prince was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute, Vincent Bamford left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warrior fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Vincent Bamford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Vincent Bamford's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Neil Prince was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Neil Prince showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stuart Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Neil Prince took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincent Bamford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neil Prince showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stuart Lucas in the 26th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Wanlip AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Bamford came free, but Neil Prince reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wanlip AFC's goalkeeper Neil Prince, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Vincent Bamford ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Neil Prince was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Vincent Bamford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stuart Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vincent Bamford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neil Prince having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vincent Bamford was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Stuart Lucas lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Neil Prince. Wanlip AFC's Neil Prince played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Bamford in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Bamford in the 59th minute of play forced Wanlip AFC's goalkeeper Neil Prince to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Wanlip AFC's zone, Stuart Lucas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Neil Prince came out of the goal and Stuart Lucas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vincent Bamford struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Neil Prince didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warrior. Joe Lobb blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Garth Edworthy having to make a save. If Stuart Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vincent Bamford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neil Prince having to interfere. Stuart Lucas in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Neil Prince, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Warrior's Stuart Lucas got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Stuart Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warrior's supporters rose to their feet, but Stuart Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Neil Prince breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vincent Bamford in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Neil Prince saved Wanlip AFC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Archie Garner-Currie during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wanlip AFC! The goalkeeper, Neil Prince, was totally fooled by Warrior's Vic Hales, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Warrior's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
