Leo Cook made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ryan Coulshaw's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Cook read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Ryan Coulshaw recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ryan Coulshaw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Cook having to interfere. Leo Cook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loyd Astridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 played minutes Clevedon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Piers Mellon. Leo Cook showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Coulshaw, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Piers Mellon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Bramble having to interfere. After some careless play in the Clevedon AFC defense, Ryan Coulshaw kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Cook. The Clevedon AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Cook should have stopped the shot. Piers Mellon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Carl Bramble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loyd Astridge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. If Loyd Astridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Ryan Coulshaw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Cook saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Loyd Astridge put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Leo Cook. Fc athletico cosmos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
