Follis United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Sam Price scored to the left of an out of position Rowan Pearce, making the score, 1-0. Graeme Pryor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Barney Woods tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barney Woods took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graeme Pryor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kurt Halliwell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rowan Pearce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. If Sam Price had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 minutes, Sam Price mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wanborough FC and the Follis United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Sam Price hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Wanborough FC's Glyn Lindley got a free kick in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Graeme Pryor in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barney Woods saved Wanborough FC from getting behind. Kurt Halliwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Follis United's goalkeeper Rowan Pearce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Halliwell. Rowan Pearce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Price in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sam Price was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Kurt Halliwell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wanborough FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kurt Halliwell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rowan Pearce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the game, Glyn Lindley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wanborough FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Follis United the free kick. Glyn Lindley kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Follis United's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Halliwell came free, but Rowan Pearce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wanborough FC's Des Findley got a free kick in the 60th minute. 1-1 came in the 62nd minute when Brian Winship all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Barney Woods. In the 66th minute Kurt Halliwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Pearce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Follis United's Lucas Clare got a free kick in the 67th minute. Kurt Halliwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Pearce having to interfere. In the 70th minute Kurt Halliwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Pearce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Price in the 77th minute of play forced Follis United's goalkeeper Rowan Pearce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rowan Pearce didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Wanborough FC's Kurt Halliwell shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 85th minute, Kurt Halliwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sam Price had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st match minute, Follis United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fraser Bale to maneuver through the defense. Rowan Pearce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Price, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graeme Pryor in the 97th minute of play forced Wanborough FC's goalkeeper Barney Woods to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
