Oliver Jefferies could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Kenny Lawson made a huge save. When Gav Cornish came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Lunatic Leeds fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gav Cornish couldn't finish the play. Kenny Hutchinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gav Cornish in the 16th minute of play. Lunatic Leeds's Kenny Lawson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thom Corbridge in the 18th minute of play. Ben Pyrah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Thom Dryden reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kenny Lawson. The goal made the score 1-0. If Ben Pyrah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Oliver Jefferies could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Kenny Lawson however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thom Corbridge in the 36th minute of play forced Lunatic Leeds's goalkeeper Kenny Lawson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Thom Corbridge recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kenny Lawson. Thom Corbridge showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Oliver Jefferies kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gav Cornish to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute, Conal Ridsdale made a precise shot to the right of Kenny Lawson. Lunatic Leeds's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 67th minute, Chip Downes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenny Lawson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thom Dryden in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Lunatic Leeds's zone, Ashley Holloway stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenny Lawson came out of the goal and Ashley Holloway tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute Thom Corbridge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Lawson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenny Lawson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Jefferies, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Thom Corbridge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenny Lawson. Lunatic Leeds's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thom Corbridge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Oliver Jefferies received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Kenny Lawson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Eadfs's goal looked a bit too open when Austen Hickson came free, but Kenny Hutchinson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kenny Lawson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thom Dryden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
