Spectators: 6819 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1155, VIP seats: 15) Thom Corbridge made the kick off and thus started the match. Eadfs's Kenny Hutchinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwyn Woodford in the 2nd minute of play. In the 5thth minute of the game Thom Corbridge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sunder FC's Donald Vaughan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Thom Dryden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eadfs's supporters rose to their feet, but Thom Dryden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donald Vaughan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thom Corbridge took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donald Vaughan. Donald Vaughan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Thom Corbridge's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donald Vaughan was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. When Thom Dryden came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Eadfs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thom Dryden couldn't finish the play. Thom Dryden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Thom Corbridge came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Eadfs fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of Eadfs booed when Sunder FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwyn Woodford didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Thom Dryden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donald Vaughan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conal Ridsdale in the 26th minute of the match. If Thom Corbridge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Oliver Jefferies got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rod Pilkington kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Conal Ridsdale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mark Haxby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Conal Ridsdale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliver Jefferies could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Donald Vaughan made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Peter Key hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thom Corbridges short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Donald Vaughan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 67th match minute, Eadfs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thom Dryden to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sunder FC's zone, Oliver Jefferies stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donald Vaughan came out of the goal and Oliver Jefferies tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thom Dryden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donald Vaughan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thom Corbridge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donald Vaughan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thom Dryden in the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th match minute, Eadfs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thom Corbridge to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 87 in the game by Thom Corbridge from a close distance when the talented Donald Vaughan managed to make a qualified save. Sunder FC's players were relieved. Eadfs were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
