The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a defensive mix-up in Laniakea Super Cluster's zone, Ian Bamford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tyrone Bramhall came out of the goal and Ian Bamford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Laniakea Super Cluster! Tyrone Bramhall had in the 58thth minute some difficulties stopping Felix Bridgeworth's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Polperro's attack was well implemented in the 60th minute, but when Felix Bridgeworth was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Polperro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jasper Edmunds was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 73 minutes into the game, Laniakea Super Cluster's Nick Halloran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peter Bamford made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasper Edmunds in the 77th minute of play forced Polperro's goalkeeper Peter Bamford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th match minute, Polperro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leroy Almond to maneuver through the defense. Leroy Almond's late challenge caught a Laniakea Super Cluster's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leroy Almond helped the player get up and apologised. Tyrone Bramhall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Bridgeworth's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Bill Watts took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tyrone Bramhall. Tyrone Bramhall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The Laniakea Super Cluster players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
