Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gregory Cardwell kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ross Freeman in the 8th minute of play forced Bredon FC's goalkeeper Pete Longden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Bartrup succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 10th playminute. Richard Bartrup received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Trey Swain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gregory Cardwell came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Bredon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregory Cardwell couldn't finish the play. 19 minutes into the game, Ruben Garforth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sedgewick Collective's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bredon FC the free kick. In the 19th minute, Ruben Garforth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Ross was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sedgewick Collective! Trey Swain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregory Cardwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Gregory Cardwell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bredon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregory Cardwell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Sedgewick Collective's Simon Halliday nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pete Longden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Bredon FC's Gregory Cardwell in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sedgewick Collective's goalie prevented a goal. If Joshua Nicholson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Halliday to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61stth minute of the game Gregory Cardwell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sedgewick Collective's Trey Swain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Simon Halliday had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregory Cardwell might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Trey Swain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregory Cardwell ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Sedgewick Collective getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Christopher Sedgemore hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Nicky Shakespeare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sedgewick Collective's Trey Swain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregory Cardwell in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sedgewick Collective's Rich Hurren got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Gregory Cardwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trey Swain having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Bartrup in the 88th minute of play forced Sedgewick Collective's goalkeeper Trey Swain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Halliday took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pete Longden. Pete Longden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After 95 played minutes, Bredon FC's Harvey Bartram shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Trey Swain came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bredon FC reached it. In the 96th minute Richard Bartrup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trey Swain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
