Richard Bartrup recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gregory Cardwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joshua Simpson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Bartrup in the 11th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Richard Bartrup's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joshua Simpson was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Foxton FC's Fitz Pickering got a free kick in the 12th minute. Benjamin Jewson's late challenge caught a Bredon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Foxton FC's Fitz Pickering got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Joshua Simpson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregory Cardwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Foxton FC's Nicky Castleton got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the match, Gordon Lawson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pete Longden. Bredon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gordon Lawson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Gordon Lawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Nicky Castleton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Foxton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicky Castleton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 47 minutes, Gregory Cardwell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregory Cardwell was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Bredon FC's zone, Nicky Castleton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pete Longden came out of the goal and Nicky Castleton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pete Longden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fitz Pickering in the 59th minute of the match. Nicky Castleton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Pete Longden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joshua Simpson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sean Nevin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joshua Simpson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Foxton FC's Joshua Simpson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Nicholson in the 72nd minute of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Foxton FC's goalkeeper Joshua Simpson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicky Castleton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Pete Longden made a huge save. Joshua Simpson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jake Stansfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Bredon FC's Richard Bartrup nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joshua Simpson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Bredon FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
