After 52 played minutes Romandinho LFC got a freekick which was hit by Roy Reynolds. Philip Shipton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marty Brumfitt in the 72nd minute of play forced Romandinho LFC's goalkeeper Victor Marenghi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A wasted opportunity for Insurance Management Bear. 80 minutes into the game, Marty Brumfitt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victor Marenghi. Marty Brumfitt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Philip Shipton got free with Victor Marenghi in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romandinho LFC's Victor Marenghi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marty Brumfitt in the 86th minute of play. Scott Rayner struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Victor Marenghi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Insurance Management Bear. In the 88th minute, Roy Reynolds hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Philip Shipton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Insurance Management Bear's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philip Shipton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Insurance Management Bear left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Romandinho LFC.
