Spectators: 7399 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Philip Shipton kicked off to start the match. Damion Wardman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Keanu Chapman might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Perry Parkinson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Keanu Chapman ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Thornbury defense, Philip Shipton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Spike Kay. The Thornbury fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Spike Kay should have stopped the shot. Frazer Sunderland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perry Parkinson having to interfere. The Thornbury fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Thornbury's Keanu Chapman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Alfie Shakespeare fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Thornbury's protests and gave Alfie Shakespeare a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Thornbury got a freekick which was hit by Alfie Shakespeare. After having played for 22 minutes, Keanu Chapman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thornbury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Keanu Chapman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Philip Shipton in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Spike Kay saved Thornbury from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Scott Rayner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered when Frank Ramsay's long shot passed Perry Parkinson's right side. It was 1-2, 27 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Philip Shipton in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Spike Kay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Insurance Management Bear fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Insurance Management Bear's Philip Shipton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Keanu Chapman struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Perry Parkinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thornbury. 47 minutes into the game, Keanu Chapman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Perry Parkinson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frazer Sunderland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Philip Shipton in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Spike Kay saved Thornbury from getting behind. Philip Shipton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Spike Kay having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Frazer Sunderland dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Perry Parkinson, 2-4. In the 62nd minute, Kieran Illingworth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Insurance Management Bear fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Spike Kay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philip Shipton's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. The audience was convinced that Philip Shipton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Spike Kay was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Perry Parkinson made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Keanu Chapman sent off a good shot on target. When Keanu Chapman came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Thornbury fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keanu Chapman couldn't finish the play. If Marty Brumfitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Casey Wildman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Perry Parkinson. That made the score 3-5 in the 78 minute of play. Marty Brumfitt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Spike Kay having to interfere. If Marty Brumfitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Thornbury's Perry Parkinson threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Casey Wildman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 91 minutes into the match, Keanu Chapman notched a goal, 3-6, to the right of Insurance Management Bear's Perry Parkinson. Perry Parkinson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Casey Wildman took a quick shot and it went in 3-7 without a chance for Perry Parkinson to make any attempt to save it.
