In the 2nd minute, Stew Garlick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to DSGaming getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jerome Nelson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liam Chappell in the 11th minute of play forced Romandinho LFC's goalkeeper Victor Marenghi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Liam Chappell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Romandinho LFC's Victor Marenghi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Liam Chappell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Marenghi having to make a save. Jeremy Aiston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Jeremy Aiston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Phillip Longstaffe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Duncan Little tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremy Aiston blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duncan Little having to make a save. If Liam Chappell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josh Fish charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josh Fish the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Romandinho LFC's Josh Fish got a free kick in the 32nd minute. DSGaming's Liam Chappell got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Romandinho LFC's zone, Jay Beck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Marenghi came out of the goal and Jay Beck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 43 minutes, Jay Beck made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Romandinho LFC's Victor Marenghi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 48 minutes into the match, Romandinho LFC's goal looked a bit too open when Liam Chappell came free, but Victor Marenghi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Phillip Longstaffe was the one to do the kick off. Romandinho LFC's Victor Marenghi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Romandinho LFC from getting a goal against them. Roy Reynolds hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. A collision led to DSGaming getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jay Beck hit a great ball. With a little luck, Romandinho LFC's Victor Marenghi got control of the ball when Jay Beck tried to sneak it across the goal line. Liam Chappell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Marenghi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Romandinho LFC's Roy Reynolds got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Jay Beck came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the DSGaming fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jay Beck couldn't finish the play. Victor Marenghi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Chappell in the 67th minute of play. Jay Beck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Marenghi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liam Chappell in the 72nd minute of the match. Phillip Longstaffe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Little having to interfere. In the 75th minute, one of DSGaming:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DSGaming. David Castledine walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 80 minutes into the game, Roy Reynolds was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Romandinho LFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DSGaming the free kick. Roy Reynolds kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Romandinho LFC defense, Jay Beck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Marenghi. The Romandinho LFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Marenghi should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute of the match, Jay Beck got a very nice opportunity to score, but Victor Marenghi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. DSGaming's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
