Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bradley Starr kicked off to start the match. Nath Goodwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Andre Baldwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Manchester FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luke Llewellyn came free, but Basil Lonsdale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luke Llewellyn kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Andre Baldwin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Paul Guest received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Andre Baldwin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Cliff Strongman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basil Lonsdale was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Carlton Garner-Currie scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basil Lonsdale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nath Goodwick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luke Llewellyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil Lonsdale having to interfere. Manchester Athletic's Andre Baldwin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Manchester Athletic from getting a goal against them. Conal Neville's late challenge caught a Manchester Athletic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conal Neville helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Manchester FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conal Neville to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paul Guest made a kick off. In the 64th minute, Paul Guest got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Nath Goodwick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andre Baldwin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Paul Guest sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andre Baldwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Guest in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Guest in the 74th minute of play forced Manchester Athletic's goalkeeper Andre Baldwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Russ Warne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manchester FC's Paul Guest got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Roy Vine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paul Guest sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Vine in the 80th minute of play forced Manchester Athletic's goalkeeper Andre Baldwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basil Lonsdale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradley Starr, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute, Manchester Athletic's Bradley Starr ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Basil Lonsdale. Basil Lonsdale yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Paul Guest put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Andre Baldwin. Chants of Manchester Athletic echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Manchester FC had held the ball for most of the match.
