Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Annscroft AFC's Marek Herring started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Casey Wildman charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casey Wildman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Casey Wildman hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Austen Byrne made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Keanu Chapman sent off a good shot on target. Johnathon Jenkinson struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Spike Kay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Annscroft AFC. 15 minutes into the game, Ricky Fairs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thornbury's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Annscroft AFC the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Thornbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricky Fairs to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Marek Herring ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Spike Kay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Austen Byrne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frazer Sunderland's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Johnathon Jenkinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Austen Byrne made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Keanu Chapman sent off a good shot on target. Keanu Chapman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austen Byrne having to interfere. Keanu Chapman scored 1-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Austen Byrne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Bradley Harkness hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keanu Chapman in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Austen Byrne saved Annscroft AFC from getting behind. Marek Herring did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Spike Kay 57 minutes into the match. Malcolm Gould hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Frazer Sunderland notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Annscroft AFC's Austen Byrne. Austen Byrne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Frazer Sunderland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marek Herring hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Austen Byrne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Keanu Chapman's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. When Thornbury's Frazer Sunderland in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Annscroft AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Keanu Chapman put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Austen Byrne. In the 87th match minute, Annscroft AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Mabbutt to maneuver through the defense. Austen Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frazer Sunderland in the 90th minute of the match. Frazer Sunderland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Austen Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keanu Chapman, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Spike Kay made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Johnathon Jenkinson sent off a good shot on target. Thornbury's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
