Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Paul Guest got the match started through his kick off. Victor Marenghi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Guest, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Nath Goodwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Marenghi having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Ian Fairfax was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Romandinho LFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Romandinho LFC's Ian Fairfax got a free kick in the 7th minute. Romandinho LFC's Victor Marenghi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nath Goodwick in the 8th minute of play. If Roy Vine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 13 minutes, Nath Goodwick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nath Goodwick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nath Goodwick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Victor Marenghi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Manchester FC's Basil Lonsdale got control of the ball when Ian Fairfax tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sean Bartrup recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Paul Guest came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Manchester FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Guest couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nath Goodwick in the 27th minute of play forced Romandinho LFC's goalkeeper Victor Marenghi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Nath Goodwick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nath Goodwick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Marenghi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Romandinho LFC's zone, Paul Guest stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Marenghi came out of the goal and Paul Guest tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nath Goodwick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camron Poole during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Camron Poole kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Manchester FC's Roy Vine got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 44 minutes, Gregory Nicholson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregory Nicholson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Guest in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor Marenghi saved Romandinho LFC from getting behind. Kenny Beck kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Phillip Longstaffe to strike the kick off in the second half. Paul Guest might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Marenghi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paul Guest ran back to his position shaking his head. 54 minutes into the match, Manchester FC's Paul Guest sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Marenghi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sean Bartrup struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Victor Marenghi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester FC. After a defensive mix-up in Romandinho LFC's zone, Paul Guest stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Marenghi came out of the goal and Paul Guest tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the game, Kristopher Grayson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After having played for 62 minutes, Sean Bartrup managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sean Bartrup was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Guest in the 68th minute of play forced Romandinho LFC's goalkeeper Victor Marenghi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Fairfax in the 74th minute of play forced Manchester FC's goalkeeper Basil Lonsdale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Phillip Longstaffe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basil Lonsdale was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some careless play in the Manchester FC defense, Jeremy Aiston kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basil Lonsdale. The Manchester FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basil Lonsdale should have stopped the shot. If Paul Guest had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Guest succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 91st playminute.
