Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jo Burgess made the kick off which started today's match. Cowplain's Rodd Shotton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Ellerby in the 7th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jo Burgess in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Coombe saved Kingstown from getting behind. Eric Davis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Charles Coombe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cowplain getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Joshua Dawson hit a great ball. Rodd Shotton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Ellerby in the 21st minute of the match. Eric Davis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Charles Coombe made a huge save. In the 25th minute of the match, Jo Burgess tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Charles Coombe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jo Burgess in the 30th minute of play forced Kingstown's goalkeeper Charles Coombe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, Cowplain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Dawson to maneuver through the defense. Steven Ellerby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Eric Davis lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Charles Coombe. In the 40th minute Steven Ellerby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodd Shotton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Liam Boston made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 51 in the game by Liam Boston from a close distance when the talented Rodd Shotton managed to make a qualified save. Cowplain's players were relieved. When Sol Reid fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cowplain's protests and gave Sol Reid a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Cowplain got a freekick which was hit by Sol Reid. After having played for 55 minutes, Liam Boston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kingstown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liam Boston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cowplain's Rodd Shotton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liam Boston in the 57th minute of play. Liam Boston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rodd Shotton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Coombe came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Cowplain's Jo Burgess. But to his dismay, Jo Burgess quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Steven Ellerbys short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Rodd Shotton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rodd Shotton made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Steven Ellerby sent off a good shot on target. Rodd Shotton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Boston in the 78th minute of play. Liam Boston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodd Shotton having to interfere. Vic Christie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodd Shotton. Cowplain's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rodd Shotton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liam Boston, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. If Jo Burgess had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charles Coombe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jo Burgess in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cowplain fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kingstown had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
