Jools Singleton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Ellerby, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. San Marino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liam Boston couldn't finish the play. Steven Ellerby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jools Singleton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liam Boston might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jools Singleton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. With his leg Jools Singleton managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Kingstown's Steven Ellerby fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liam Boston got free with Jools Singleton in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jools Singleton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steven Ellerby's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in San Marino's zone, Chaz Burgess stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jools Singleton came out of the goal and Chaz Burgess tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Liam Boston's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jools Singleton was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Jools Singleton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Boston in the 83rd minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, San Marino's goal looked a bit too open when Liam Boston came free, but Jools Singleton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, San Marino's goalkeeper Jools Singleton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steven Ellerby. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liam Boston in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jools Singleton saved San Marino from getting behind. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kingstown had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
