Spectators: 7195 (Terracing: 5645, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stefan Bean got the match started through his kick off. If Ricky Craven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 minutes, Kris Apsden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penetrators and the Perivale United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Penetrators getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Kris Apsden hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Rod Lundy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Neil Rice was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Stefan Bean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Neil Rice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rod Lundy struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Neil Rice didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perivale United. Perivale United's Rod Lundy got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Stefan Bean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Graeme Renwick during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Penetrators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graeme Renwick to maneuver through the defense. Ricky Craven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Perivale United's Rod Lundy got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Jonathon Apsden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricky Craven was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Penetrators's Kris Apsden got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Penetrators! In the 57th minute there was a penalty for Perivale United. Reggie Howard stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Neil Rice. 2-0. Rod Lundy took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Neil Rice. Neil Rice dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Vince Hammett charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vince Hammett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vince Hammett kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Gareth Unsworth was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Perivale United's zone, Kris Apsden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dale Sewell came out of the goal and Kris Apsden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kris Apsden in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dale Sewell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 85 minutes into the match, Perivale United's goalkeeper Dale Sewell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kris Apsden. Neil Rice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rod Lundy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the game, Stefan Bean cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Neil Rice was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 97 minutes into the match, Kris Apsden notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Perivale United's Dale Sewell. Dale Sewell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Penetrators players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Perivale United.
