In the 9th minute, Calvin Findley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Huey Ellerby blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Easter having to make a save. LARGEPEEPEE's Huey Ellerby got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keanu Oddy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Walter Easter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 played minutes Stannington got a freekick which was hit by Ian Lowndes. Huey Ellerby struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Walter Easter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LARGEPEEPEE. After a defensive mix-up in Stannington's zone, Keanu Oddy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Easter came out of the goal and Keanu Oddy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Huey Ellerby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LARGEPEEPEE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Huey Ellerby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Huey Ellerby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

53 minutes into the match, LARGEPEEPEE's goalkeeper Andy Kelly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Airton. Andy Kelly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calvin Findley in the 55th minute of play. Walter Easter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huey Ellerby in the 63rd minute of the match. After 66 minutes of play, Stannington's Pedro Airton made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andy Kelly was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute Huey Ellerby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Easter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Huey Ellerby blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Easter having to make a save. In the 73rd match minute, LARGEPEEPEE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keanu Oddy to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes LARGEPEEPEE got a freekick which was hit by Marty Ash. In the 96th minute, Nial Sugden sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and LARGEPEEPEE's Andy Kelly didn't even have to move. The LARGEPEEPEE manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Stannington to win.
