Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gareth Todd made the kick off which started today's match. Trevor Devaney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Hassell having to interfere. Eddie Hassell came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Walton On The Naze's Gareth Todd. But to his dismay, Gareth Todd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nathan Howson during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes Wolf City got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Howson. Dean Perkins was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Connor Vickers succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Gareth Todd put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eddie Hassell. Gareth Todd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Eddie Hassell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Wolf City's goal looked a bit too open when Trevor Devaney came free, but Eddie Hassell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ritchie Bamford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Connor Vickers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gareth Todd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddie Hassell having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Trevor Devaney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Wolf City getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Daniel Watkins hit a great ball. Trevor Devaney struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Eddie Hassell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Walton On The Naze. Gareth Todd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Eddie Hassell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Connor Vickers to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Connor Vickers in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ritchie Bamford saved Walton On The Naze from getting behind. With a little luck, Wolf City's Eddie Hassell got control of the ball when Trevor Devaney tried to sneak it across the goal line. Walton On The Naze's Ritchie Bamford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Connor Vickers in the 57th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Loyd Murray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wolf City and the Walton On The Naze players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wolf City's Loyd Murray got a free kick in the 61st minute. Trevor Devaney took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eddie Hassell. Eddie Hassell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Eddie Hassell made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Trevor Devaney sent off a good shot on target. Eddie Hassell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gareth Todd, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Wolf City's goalkeeper Eddie Hassell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trevor Devaney. In the 82nd minute, Gareth Todd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Walton On The Naze's Gareth Todd got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eddie Hassell made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Trevor Devaney sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Walton On The Naze left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wolf City.
