Wolf City's Eddie Hassell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Dunning in the 12th minute of play. Reuben Champion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Connor Vickers made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Trinidad's Matthew Jones got a free kick in the 51st minute. Leigh Fayle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Eddie Hassell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Wolf City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loyd Murray to maneuver through the defense. Reuben Champion took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eddie Hassell. Eddie Hassell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 71st minute Leigh Fayle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddie Hassell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eddie Hassell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reuben Champion, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Reuben Champion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trinidad's Leigh Fayle got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leigh Fayle in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eddie Hassell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wolf City's goalkeeper Eddie Hassell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th match minute, Trinidad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leigh Fayle to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Trinidad were the better team. Trinidad's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
