Joel Granger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Storry having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Verne Cambridge made a precise shot to the right of Bradley Storry. Forest Hill's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Rory Coulshaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Miles Leslie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The tension between the Brighton & Hove Albion FC and the Forest Hill players grew even worse after the yellow card. Miles Leslie came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Forest Hill's Des Quinn. But to his dismay, Des Quinn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.
