Spectators: 7126 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christopher Broadhead took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Pat Boulton fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Stewart Lloyd, passed just outside the right post. Pat Boulton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Stewart Lloyd made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Jude Oliver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boltz's supporters rose to their feet, but Jude Oliver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stewart Lloyd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kelvin Haseldine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Syd Dale hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Devils FC's Mark Farrell got a free kick in the 19th minute. A hard shot by Philip Maskell from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Stewart Lloyd's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Boltz's Christopher Shakespeare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kelvin Haseldine in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Boltz's Paul Bullard got a free kick in the 31st minute. Christopher Shakespeare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kelvin Haseldine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jude Oliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kelvin Haseldine in the 36th minute of play forced Boltz's goalkeeper Christopher Shakespeare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Devils FC's Mark Farrell got a free kick in the 41st minute. Jude Oliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Lloyd having to interfere. Kelvin Haseldine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Christopher Shakespeare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christopher Shakespeare stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christopher Broadhead's shot from short distance in the 49th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jude Oliver made a kick off. Connor Morrell kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Pat Boulton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stewart Lloyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jude Oliver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Devils FC's zone, Pat Boulton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stewart Lloyd came out of the goal and Pat Boulton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kelvin Haseldine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Christopher Shakespeare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christopher Shakespeare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Broadhead, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kelvin Haseldine got free with Christopher Shakespeare in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute, Devils FC's Christopher Broadhead dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Kelvin Haseldine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Christopher Shakespeare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Denny Snowdon fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Devils FC's protests and gave Denny Snowdon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, Devils FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denny Snowdon to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Kelvin Haseldine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute, Christopher Broadhead reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christopher Shakespeare. The goal made the score 0-2. Kelvin Haseldine might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christopher Shakespeare. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kelvin Haseldine ran back to his position shaking his head. If Kelvin Haseldine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
