Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rob Downton made the kick off which started today's match. Jeremy Woodford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremy Woodford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alec Barker having to interfere. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kidderminster Harriers's goalkeeper Alec Barker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Karl Sugden came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Kidderminster Harriers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Sugden couldn't finish the play. Karl Sugden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bourne fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! Grant Bittner charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Grant Bittner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bourne getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Grant Bittner hit a great ball. Benjamin Featherstone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rob Downton's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Sugden in the 33rd minute of play forced Bourne's goalkeeper Benjamin Featherstone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Rob Downton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kidderminster Harriers's supporters rose to their feet, but Rob Downton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Featherstone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl Sugden in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Featherstone saved Bourne from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Rob Downton made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Featherstone. Bourne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Karl Sugden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Featherstone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

Rob Downton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Featherstone having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Karl Sugden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kidderminster Harriers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Sugden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute Rob Downton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Featherstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 69 minutes, Donald Ellison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bourne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donald Ellison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Featherstone was a little too slow when Rob Downton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-3. If Karl Sugden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rob Downton struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Benjamin Featherstone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kidderminster Harriers. Kidderminster Harriers's Alec Barker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Ellison in the 89th minute of play. Benjamin Featherstone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rob Downton in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 played minutes Bourne got a freekick which was hit by Donald Ellison. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bourne's goalkeeper Benjamin Featherstone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kidderminster Harriers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
