Sol Merris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Featherstone having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Sol Merris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute Donny Pearch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Featherstone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandy City FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Watkinson in the 21st minute. A collision led to Bourne getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Joshua Burns hit a great ball. After 23 played minutes, Sandy City FC's Abraham Watkinson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benjamin Featherstone came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sandy City FC reached it. 26 minutes into the match, Sandy City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donald Ellison came free, but Gav Clayton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Graham Elliott mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bourne and the Sandy City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Graham Elliott kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Abraham Watkinson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benjamin Featherstone. Bourne's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 32 minutes, Josh Deeney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sandy City FC and the Bourne players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sandy City FC's Josh Deeney got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute of the match Bourne got a corner. Sandy City FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Keanu Coulshaw ran over to the corner to take the kick. Teddy Sparks charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teddy Sparks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes Bourne got a freekick which was hit by Teddy Sparks. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Gav Clayton successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

In the 51st minute, Graham Elliott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Sol Merris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Featherstone was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Donald Ellison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gav Clayton having to interfere. Sandy City FC's Gav Clayton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremy Woodford in the 57th minute of play. Benjamin Featherstone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sol Merris, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of Bourne booed when Sandy City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Austen Butters didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sandy City FC's goalkeeper Gav Clayton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Josh Deeney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bourne's Donald Ellison got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sandy City FC's Josh Deeney got a free kick in the 69th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geoff Ratcliffe during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, one of Sandy City FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sandy City FC. The referee gave Bourne a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Keanu Coulshaw, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sandy City FC's Gav Clayton. 1-0. Donny Pearchs short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Benjamin Featherstone to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gav Clayton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremy Woodford in the 88th minute of the match. Benjamin Featherstone came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Sandy City FC's Donny Pearch. But to his dismay, Donny Pearch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gav Clayton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremy Woodford in the 95th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bourne's Joshua Burns got a free kick in the 98th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
