Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Paul Nelthorpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Benjamin Featherstone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 4 played minutes Harleston FC got a freekick which was hit by Martyn Prutton. Donald Ellison spun around in front of the goal 5 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Harleston FC's goal. Peter Doona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremy Woodford in the 7th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Harleston FC's zone, Graham Elliott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Doona came out of the goal and Graham Elliott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Featherstone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Nelthorpe in the 18th minute of the match. Joshua Burns hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Bourne's Jeremy Woodford got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bourne's Donald Ellison in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Harleston FC's goalie prevented a goal. Peter Doona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donald Ellison in the 30th minute of the match. Donald Ellison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Doona having to interfere. Peter Doona didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremy Woodford went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute Donald Ellison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Doona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donald Ellison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Doona having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paul Nelthorpe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bourne's Jeremy Woodford got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremy Woodford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Peter Doona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Alistair Meadowcroft hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harleston FC's Peter Doona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Harleston FC from getting a goal against them. Jeremy Woodford who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Peter Doona when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Peter Doona came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Bourne's Jeremy Woodford. But to his dismay, Jeremy Woodford quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Justin Falkingham took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Peter Doona. Harleston FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeremy Woodford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peter Doona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald Ellison in the 86th minute of play. Paul Nelthorpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Featherstone having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bourne's Graham Elliott got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Rufus Duxbury hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Bourne could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Harleston FC throughout the match.
