Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 10) David Drury made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Fairfield's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Sugden came free, but Hayden Hanson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, one of Kidderminster Harriers:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 11 minutes, Fairfield's Blair Tompkins got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alec Barker. Brandon Hatcher kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Kidderminster Harriers's Rob Downton in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fairfield's goalie prevented a goal. Dan Strickland hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Frankie Hulbert might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alec Barker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frankie Hulbert ran back to his position shaking his head. Hayden Hanson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Sugden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kidderminster Harriers's Rob Downton got a free kick in the 29th minute. Fairfield's Hayden Hanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rob Downton in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fairfield's zone, Karl Sugden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hayden Hanson came out of the goal and Karl Sugden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Karl Sugden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kidderminster Harriers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Sugden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl Sugden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayden Hanson having to interfere. Hayden Hanson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Sugden in the 46th minute of the match. Karl Sugden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rob Downton made a kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Rob Downton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kidderminster Harriers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rob Downton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Fairfield defense, Karl Sugden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hayden Hanson. The Fairfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hayden Hanson should have stopped the shot. Karl Sugden who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Hayden Hanson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Frankie Hulbert struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Alec Barker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fairfield. 67 minutes into the match, Fairfield's Frankie Hulbert sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alec Barker narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rob Downton in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hayden Hanson saved Fairfield from getting behind. In the 73rd match minute, Kidderminster Harriers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rob Downton to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 75 in the game by Karl Sugden from a close distance when the talented Hayden Hanson managed to make a qualified save. Fairfield's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rob Downton in the 76th minute of play forced Fairfield's goalkeeper Hayden Hanson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Drury's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alec Barker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rob Downton in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hayden Hanson saved Fairfield from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daryl Blakeley during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Fairfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daryl Blakeley to maneuver through the defense. Rob Downton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayden Hanson having to interfere. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fairfield's goalkeeper Hayden Hanson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karl Sugden took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hayden Hanson. Hayden Hanson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Jeffrey Carroll fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kidderminster Harriers's protests and gave Jeffrey Carroll a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Jeffrey Carroll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Drury recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Fairfield getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Blair Tompkins hit a great ball. The Kidderminster Harriers players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
