After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Martin Kear managed to get in a good position for a shot. Francis House fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Kear was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walter Broadhead breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Rueben Greaves made a precise shot to the right of Walter Broadhead. Timperley City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 11th match minute, Timperley City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harvey Rush to maneuver through the defense. Sean Bedford scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vic Moxey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Walter Broadhead managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Francis House fc's Martin Kear fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Timperley City's Walter Broadhead proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Timperley City from getting a goal against them. Walter Broadhead stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rueben Greaves's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Walter Broadhead made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Martin Kear sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Francis House fc's Walter Broadhead threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rueben Greaves, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Francis House fc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
