Phil Gayle helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 43 minutes, Francis House fc's Beinn Kearney got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ray Ellershaw. Keyworth's Ray Ellershaw proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Keyworth from getting a goal against them.

Ray Ellershaw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Kear, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Rueben Greaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray Ellershaw having to interfere. Martin Kear blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ray Ellershaw having to make a save. Rueben Greaves took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ray Ellershaw. Ray Ellershaw dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. The Keyworth supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Keyworth would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
