Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Martin Kear struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Nathan Locke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Francis House fc. Birches Head Potters's Cody Duckworth got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute, Carl Seabourne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francis House fc's Martin Kear got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Kear received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Nathan Locke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rueben Greaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 20 minutes, Zack Whitehead managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birches Head Potters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zack Whitehead was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zack Whitehead was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Birches Head Potters's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Zack Whitehead recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zack Whitehead fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vic Moxey having to interfere. Zack Whitehead might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vic Moxey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zack Whitehead ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute, Dom Holmes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Cody Duckworth made the kick off in the second half. Cody Duckworth might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vic Moxey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cody Duckworth ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Birches Head Potters booed when Francis House fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivor Coleman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Piers Llewellyn sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Francis House fc's Vic Moxey didn't even have to move. Cody Duckworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Vic Moxey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Francis House fc's goal looked a bit too open when Zack Whitehead came free, but Vic Moxey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Kear got free with Nathan Locke in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute Robert Elliot suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Vic Moxey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zack Whitehead, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Nathan Locke managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Francis House fc's Martin Kear fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Martin Kear had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zack Whitehead received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Vic Moxey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Rueben Greaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan Locke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
