Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rueben Greaves made the kick off which started today's match. Matty Walker charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matty Walker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Pewsey FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matty Walker to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Rob Harding's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vic Moxey was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Francis House fc's zone, Perry Hedges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vic Moxey came out of the goal and Perry Hedges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute Rueben Greaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leigh Draper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leigh Draper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rueben Greaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Martin Kear made a precise shot to the right of Leigh Draper. Pewsey FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The Francis House fc fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Francis House fc's Martin Kear looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rob Harding sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Francis House fc booed when Pewsey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry Budge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerry Budge hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Francis House fc's Rueben Greaves in the 40th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Leigh Draper was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Pewsey FC through an amazing save. Carl Seabourne kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rob Harding to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Pewsey FC's zone, Rueben Greaves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leigh Draper came out of the goal and Rueben Greaves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 minutes, Ivor Coleman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Francis House fc and the Pewsey FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Francis House fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivor Coleman to maneuver through the defense. Perry Hedges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Vic Moxey made a huge save. Ivor Coleman was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 68th match minute, Francis House fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivor Coleman to maneuver through the defense. If Martin Kear had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Potter hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 76thth minute of the game Rob Harding who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Francis House fc's Vic Moxey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Pewsey FC booed when Francis House fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rueben Greaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francis House fc's Martin Kear got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francis House fc's Vic Moxey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Francis House fc from getting a goal against them. Perry Hedges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rob Harding had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francis House fc's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
