After the first half Francis House fc were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vic Moxey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mickey Wardman in the 68th minute of play forced Francis House fc's goalkeeper Vic Moxey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Rueben Greaves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martyn Cheeseman was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Rueben Greaves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rueben Greaves really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Denzil Bettinson scored 1-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vic Moxey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
