Dylon Stockdale was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Lewis Ginn capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lewis Ginn really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Brackley Town's Rodd Tuck got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Liverpool City's Dylon Stockdale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodd Tuck in the 14th minute of play. Liverpool City's Tod Ford got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lewis Ginn fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brackley Town's protests and gave Lewis Ginn a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Liverpool City booed when Brackley Town was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lewis Ginn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Johnny Leadbeater sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeff Langford skillfully saved the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Brackley Town's goal looked a bit too open when Tod Ford came free, but Jeff Langford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rodd Tuck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dylon Stockdale was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ben Camfield got free with Dylon Stockdale in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dylon Stockdale made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Ben Camfield sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, Rodd Tuck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dylon Stockdale. Liverpool City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodd Tuck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Ben Camfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johnny Reed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylon Stockdale having to interfere. Jeff Langford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruben Gulliver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

52 minutes into the match, Brackley Town's goalkeeper Jeff Langford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Gulliver. After 54 minutes of play, Liverpool City's Tod Ford made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeff Langford was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodd Tuck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodd Tuck in the 59th minute of play forced Liverpool City's goalkeeper Dylon Stockdale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnny Reed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylon Stockdale having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Ben Camfield left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brackley Town fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 65 minutes into the game, Johnny Reed cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Dylon Stockdale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Paddy Bennett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Johnny Reed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylon Stockdale having to interfere. Paddy Bennett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Rodd Tuck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dylon Stockdale was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Brackley Town's Lewis Ginn got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Lewis Ginn off the ground. Lewis Ginn hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Tod Ford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeff Langford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dylon Stockdale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Camfield in the 94th minute of the match. Jeff Langford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tod Ford in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Brackley Town were the better team. Brackley Town's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
