Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Doğuhan Metiner made the kick off which started today's match. Kelvin Reid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavin Baker in the 10th minute of play. When Workington AFC's Doğuhan Metiner in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Parkgate United's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Doğuhan Metiner notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Parkgate United's Kelvin Reid. Kelvin Reid was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute, Oliver Dalby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oliver Dalby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kelvin Reid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doğuhan Metiner's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Workington AFC's Donald Wilson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Workington AFC from getting a goal against them. Doğuhan Metiner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kelvin Reid read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nat Sharpe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Donald Wilson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nat Sharpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Doğuhan Metiner came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Workington AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doğuhan Metiner couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the match, Parkgate United's goalkeeper Kelvin Reid had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doğuhan Metiner. Kelvin Reid made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Doğuhan Metiner sent off a good shot on target. When Den Blythe came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Parkgate United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Den Blythe couldn't finish the play. Den Blythe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Donald Wilson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Nat Sharpe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Workington AFC's Ashley Gough got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Kelvin Reid was a little too slow when Doğuhan Metiner got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavin Baker in the 83rd minute of play forced Parkgate United's goalkeeper Kelvin Reid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doğuhan Metiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Doğuhan Metiner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Kelvin Reid made a huge save. 89 minutes into the game, Rupert Beard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Parkgate United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Workington AFC the free kick. In the 89th minute, Rupert Beard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donald Wilson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Alcock in the 96th minute of the match.
