Francis Doughty hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ben Camfield got free with Jude Weedon in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Paddy Bennett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jude Weedon was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Ben Camfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Paddy Bennett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jude Weedon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute Stuart Brindley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeff Langford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodd Tuck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jude Weedon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rupert Trunks fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 44th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Jude Weedon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rodd Tuck showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 47 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jamie Hughes was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Johnny Reed got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olympic de Tartu's Jude Weedon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paddy Bennett in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympic de Tartu's goalkeeper Jude Weedon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Stuart Brindley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeff Langford was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Brackley Town's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Jamie Hughes scored to the left of an out of position Jeff Langford, making the score, 1-2. With a little luck, Brackley Town's Jeff Langford got control of the ball when Stuart Brindley tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodd Tuck in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jude Weedon saved Olympic de Tartu from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Ben Camfield left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brackley Town fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Paddy Bennett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierce Rogers struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Jude Weedon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brackley Town. If Paddy Bennett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodd Tuck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Francis Doughty could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Jeff Langford made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Rodd Tuck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jude Weedon was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Brackley Town's Johnny Reed got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Despite being the better team, Brackley Town failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
