Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodd Tuck started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Ben Camfield managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brackley Town's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ben Camfield was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeff Langford made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Den Blythe sent off a good shot on target. If Rodd Tuck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brackley Town's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Nat Sharpe scored to the left of an out of position Jeff Langford, making the score, 1-1. After 21 minutes, Johnny Reed made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Parkgate United's Kelvin Reid tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Paddy Bennett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeff Langford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nat Sharpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Brackley Town's Ben Camfield in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Parkgate United's goalie prevented a goal. Kelvin Reid came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Brackley Town's Rodd Tuck. But to his dismay, Rodd Tuck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Parkgate United's zone, Ben Camfield stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kelvin Reid came out of the goal and Ben Camfield tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Rodd Tuck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brackley Town fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4.

56 minutes into the match, Calum Pope had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeff Langford. Brackley Town's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Calum Pope was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 59th minute Nat Sharpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeff Langford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Paddy Bennett got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 68th match minute, Brackley Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lewis Ginn to maneuver through the defense. Jeff Langford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reuben Battersby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Rodd Tuck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Kelvin Reid was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brackley Town's Jeff Langford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nat Sharpe in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Leon Alcock ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeff Langford was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. Kelvin Reid made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ben Camfield in the 81st minute. Kelvin Reid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodd Tuck in the 82nd minute of the match. Brackley Town's Johnny Reed got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kelvin Reid was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ben Camfield showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-6 in the 86 minute of play. Ben Camfields short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Kelvin Reid to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Paddy Bennett might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kelvin Reid. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paddy Bennett ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Brackley Town's Johnny Reed got a free kick in the 94th minute. Rodd Tuck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Kelvin Reid made a huge save. Ben Camfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Kelvin Reid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brackley Town's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
