Spectators: 7659 (Terracing: 5746, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tod Ford started the match with the kick off. Perry Ablethorpe kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Tod Ford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the game, Oliver Dalby recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dylon Stockdale. Oliver Dalby showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 12th minute, Doğuhan Metiner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oliver Dalby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Dylon Stockdale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Doğuhan Metiner took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dylon Stockdale to make any attempt to save it. Leigh Shields hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Doğuhan Metiner who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Dylon Stockdale when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Doğuhan Metiner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Alan Tindale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverpool City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Workington AFC the free kick. Alan Tindale kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Workington AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Tindale came free, but Donald Wilson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Oliver Dalby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 46 in the game by Doğuhan Metiner from a close distance when the talented Dylon Stockdale managed to make a qualified save. Liverpool City's players were relieved. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doğuhan Metiner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool City's zone, Oliver Dalby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylon Stockdale came out of the goal and Oliver Dalby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doğuhan Metiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylon Stockdale having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Doğuhan Metiner made a precise shot to the right of Dylon Stockdale. Liverpool City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Donald Wilson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tod Ford in the 59th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Doğuhan Metiner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Dylon Stockdale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oliver Dalby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the game, Workington AFC's Doğuhan Metiner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dylon Stockdale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Oliver Dalby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dylon Stockdale came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Workington AFC's Doğuhan Metiner. But to his dismay, Doğuhan Metiner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğuhan Metiner in the 93rd minute of play forced Liverpool City's goalkeeper Dylon Stockdale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donald Wilson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tod Ford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Dalby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Dylon Stockdale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Workington AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
