In the 5th minute, Matthew Boston got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jermaine Young recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francis Doughty hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Stockton-on-Tees's goal looked a bit too open when Jamie Hughes came free, but Tod Carey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, Olympic de Tartu's Stuart Brindley made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tod Carey was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 29 minutes, Jamie Hughes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympic de Tartu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jamie Hughes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jamie Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tod Carey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jamie Hughes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastien Southgate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jermaine Young sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Jermaine Young managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blair Lock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jude Weedon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Olympic de Tartu's goal looked a bit too open when Jermaine Young came free, but Jude Weedon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Stockton-on-Tees players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olympic de Tartu were winning 0-1.

Gav Revell charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gav Revell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Olympic de Tartu booed when Stockton-on-Tees was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gav Revell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olympic de Tartu's Jamie Hughes got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tod Carey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stuart Brindley went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jermaine Young sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jermaine Young in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jude Weedon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Matthew Boston came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Stockton-on-Tees fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matthew Boston couldn't finish the play. Tod Carey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamie Hughes in the 80th minute of play. Matthew Boston blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jude Weedon having to make a save. If Jermaine Young had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stuart Brindley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Tod Carey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jude Weedon came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Stockton-on-Tees's Matthew Boston. But to his dismay, Matthew Boston quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Tod Carey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamie Hughes in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Olympic de Tartu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
