The supporters of Acton FC booed when Workington AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Farrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doğuhan Metiners short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Ed Draper to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ed Draper made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Doğuhan Metiner sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doğuhan Metiner got free with Ed Draper in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th minute, Doğuhan Metiner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Workington AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

59 minutes into the match, Acton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doğuhan Metiner came free, but Ed Draper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62ndth minute of the game Doğuhan Metiner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acton FC's Ed Draper was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Oliver Dalby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Acton FC defense, Doğuhan Metiner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ed Draper. The Acton FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ed Draper should have stopped the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Doğuhan Metiner notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Acton FC's Ed Draper. Ed Draper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Acton FC's Louis Reynolds got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Doğuhan Metiner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ed Draper. Acton FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doğuhan Metiner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Oliver Dalby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Doğuhan Metiner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ed Draper having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğuhan Metiner in the 80th minute of play forced Acton FC's goalkeeper Ed Draper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doğuhan Metiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ed Draper having to interfere. When Workington AFC's Doğuhan Metiner in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Acton FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Oliver Dalby came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Workington AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Dalby couldn't finish the play. If Doğuhan Metiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
