When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sol Stockley made a kick off. Sol Stockley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Patten having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Biggleswade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olly Hilditch to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugh Duckworth during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Hugh Duckworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Mansfield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Jones in the 69th minute of play. If Zak Howden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 81st minute Jonny Jones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Mansfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Maine Road FC's Vance Thornton got a free kick in the 84th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Pedro Mansfield successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zak Howden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zak Howden struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Pedro Mansfield didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Biggleswade.
