Richard Goodwick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Wadebridge AFC's Paul Tyrell got a free kick in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Alfie Chappell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Piers Slator was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Alfie Chappell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piers Slator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfie Chappell in the 37th minute of the match. Piers Slator made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Tyler Creighton sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Omega United's Piers Slator got control of the ball when Tyler Creighton tried to sneak it across the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tyler Creighton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piers Slator having to interfere. Piers Slator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyler Creighton, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The supporters of Wadebridge AFC booed when Omega United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brynn Haylock didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Tyler Creighton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Liam Broadbent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
