Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Warren Rotherfield took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jamal Butcher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Warren Rotherfield in the 7th minute of play. Kristopher Tomlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Seabourne, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Sammy Seabourne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristopher Tomlin having to interfere. Matthew Aspinall hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Warren Rotherfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Warren Rotherfield in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jamal Butcher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Reuben Rothwell fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Didcot AFC's protests and gave Reuben Rothwell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Didcot AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reuben Rothwell to maneuver through the defense. Warren Rotherfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toby Busby charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toby Busby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Toby Busby hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. If Warren Rotherfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Ashtead's goal looked a bit too open when Warren Rotherfield came free, but Jamal Butcher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jamal Butcher didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reuben Rothwell went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Reuben Rothwell came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Didcot AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reuben Rothwell couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute of the match Duncan Stone shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jamal Butcher showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Warren Rotherfield who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ashtead's Jamal Butcher was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, Drew Billing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sammy Seabourne made the kick off in the second half. Warren Rotherfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jamal Butcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 played minutes, Didcot AFC's Nath Shaw shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jamal Butcher came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Didcot AFC reached it. In the 63rd minute, Reuben Rothwell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jamal Butcher. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 66th match minute, Didcot AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Rooy to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Sammy Seabourne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albert Crowther fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristopher Tomlin having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Warren Rotherfield lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Jamal Butcher. Didcot AFC's Warren Rotherfield was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 79th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Didcot AFC's Isac Carvalhais slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jamal Butcher. That made the score 0-6 after 82 minutes of play. Didcot AFC's Pierre Tate was substituted for Drew Billing. Jamal Butcher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Rooy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Didcot AFC's Warren Rotherfield in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ashtead's goalie prevented a goal. Didcot AFC's Warren Rotherfield got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Didcot AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
