A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Jonathan Marenghi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jermaine Branch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pete Courtney having to interfere. Jonathan Marenghi scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pete Courtney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jermaine Branch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pete Courtney having to interfere. A collision led to Stockport Rockers getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Kenny Hackney hit a great ball. After the first half derik fc were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jermaine Branch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jermaine Branch in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pete Courtney saved Stockport Rockers from getting behind. The supporters of derik fc booed when Stockport Rockers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graeme Reed didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jermaine Branch, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Pete Courtney was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
