Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brendon Booker took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Sean Hinshelwood came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Ferryton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sean Hinshelwood couldn't finish the play. In the 8th minute, Ferryton's Brendon Booker dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ian Fairfax recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Victor Parks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferryton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aldeburgh FC the free kick. The supporters of Aldeburgh FC booed when Ferryton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Parks didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aldeburgh FC's Antony Gavan in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ferryton's goalie prevented a goal. After 24 minutes, Rupert Frampton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aldeburgh FC and the Ferryton players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Andre Connery fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferryton's protests and gave Andre Connery a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 minutes of play Ferryton's Andre Connery was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 29th match minute, Ferryton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andre Connery to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Ferryton's goal looked a bit too open when Ritchie Routledge came free, but Devon Timiney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Aldeburgh FC's goalkeeper Darius Wilmott had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sean Hinshelwood. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Antony Gavan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Devon Timiney made a huge save. Ritchie Routledge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ed Medley's late challenge caught a Aldeburgh FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ed Medley helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Ed Medley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ritchie Routledge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Devon Timiney having to interfere. Antony Gavan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ferryton's Sean Hinshelwood in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aldeburgh FC's goalkeeper Darius Wilmott, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sean Hinshelwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Darius Wilmott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ed Medley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Darius Wilmott was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Darius Wilmott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sean Hinshelwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ian Fairfax hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Aldeburgh FC's Darius Wilmott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Hinshelwood in the 88th minute of play. Darius Wilmott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendon Booker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sean Hinshelwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Aldeburgh FC defense, Sean Hinshelwood kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darius Wilmott. The Aldeburgh FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darius Wilmott should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Ferryton players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
